It's BABY week!

Just a little pregnancy update...and a pretty exciting one. We are inducing this Friday, July 16th!! I will be exactly 39 weeks.

We check into the hospital Friday morning at 6:30 and things will get rolling about 7:30 am. I went to the doctor last Friday and I was already dilated to a 2. This is good, it should make the induction go more smoothly and lower the risk of me having a c-section. Now, my risk of having a c-section is just like everyone else who goes into labor. I am very happy about that for sure!

I'm not really nervous today about labor, it comes and goes. I just want her here safe. However, I am sure that I will have a hard time sleeping Thursday night and will be shaking nervous on the ride to the hospital Friday morning.

I cannot believe that in a few days Wes and I will be parents and we will have a daughter. We will call each other Mommy and Daddy. We will get to see what she looks like...whose eyes, nose, mouth and feet she has. We will get to hold her and kiss her and watch her sleep. I can't wait to hear her little cry. It is just so exciting to me.

Can't wait to see this sweet face...so hurry up Friday!!

Happy Anniversary to US Baby!!

Our anniversary was on Sunday and I can't believe it has been a YEAR! It feels like just a few days ago that Wes and I got married. Maybe a year isn't too long of time, or maybe we have just been having too much fun to notice the year speeding by us...that must be it!

When I think of that day, July 4, 2009, I am reminded of the excitement...

love...

and lots of dancing!!

To me, it was just the Best Day and I will always remember. Wes, thank you for the best year I could have ever imagined. I love you!

Coach Phillips

Real quick...There is a great article about Wes today on the Cowboys website. Click here to read it. Thought I would share, if you haven't already seen it! I love good, positive articles about our guys...especially if it is about my handsome husband!

There is a lot going on but that's all I got today...tired prego lady!

Everyone please have a fun and safe Fourth of July! We are heading to Gladewater tomorrow for the weekend. Yipppeee for fireworks!

Sunday is our one year anniversary, so we are going to celebrate tonight. We are going to Al Biernat's for dinner, yummy! More about all the festivities later, right now...cuddling with Ty.
